The Faculty of Communication Hosted the Coordination Meeting Held as Part of the Smoke-Free Campus Program

A coordination meeting was held to evaluate the activities to be carried out within the scope of the Smoke-Free Campus Program conducted by the Public Health Services Department of the Mersin Provincial Directorate of Health.

The meeting, held at the Dean’s Office of the Mersin University Faculty of Communication, was attended by Mersin University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet İsmail Yağcı, within the scope of the Mersin University Commission for Combating Addiction; Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Ardıç Çobaner; Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health faculty member Prof. Dr. Caferi Tayyar Şaşmaz; Faculty of Education, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinem Evin Akbay; Mersin Vocational School of Social Sciences, Department of Social Work and Counseling Lecturer Dr. Pelin Kılınç Özüölmez; and Silifke Vocational School, Department of Marketing and Advertising Lecturer Deniz Yaramış.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the activities that could be carried out within the scope of the Smoke-Free Campus Program and the initiatives planned for the upcoming period.
